Popcycles. That is what I think of. Shoot, Perry Taaca had never hiked further than the corner bar until I talked him into finishing the Appalachian Trail with me in 2004. He thought he had found the Fountain of Youth and has been hiking and looking ever since. Now, the North Pole. You kidding me?! That's not a hike, for crying out loud! That's tempting fate! A hike is where you can stop on a highway and catch a ride to a bar for some real food and beer. Perry, you are a slow learner. Good luck up there! Dibs on your golf clubs....
